Tropical Fish 2 Your Door - FAQs

Where is my order?

You will have specified when ordering your fish the day that you want your order to be delivered and this will be confirmed in your order confirmation. If you think your order is late, please telephone the shop you have dealt with. Most issues can be resolved quickly by communicating directly with the shop that is supplying your fish.

How can I cancel my order?

Depending upon the delivery date you have specified, your shop may already have begun the process of dispatching your fish and for this reason it is not possible to cancel the order you have placed via the Tropicalfishfinder website. However, the shop you have dealt with can process a refund or may be able to make a change to your order if they haven’t yet dispatched your order, so please contact the shop in question. Their full contact details can be found on their account page. Please remember that Tropicalfishfinder cannot cancel or change an order on your behalf and we cannot refund you for your purchase. Only the shop that you have dealt with can do this.

How do I get a refund?

This really depends on the reason for the refund and the refund policy of the shop that you have dealt with. Please refer to the shop account of the shop that you have dealt with where you will find their refund policy. Tropicalfishfinder cannot generate a refund for you. Only the shop that you have used can do this.

How do I submit feedback?

Once you have purchased your fish and taken delivery of them you can submit feedback. To do so please login to your Tropicalfishfinder account and it is there that you will find a field to submit feedback. Please remember that by buying your fish through Tropicalfishfinder you have the opportunity to rate the shop you are buying from.

How do I contact the shop I have purchased fish from?

The full details of the shop from whom you have purchased your fish will be displayed in the order confirmation sent to you by e-mail. Their details are also displayed in full on their main Tropicalfishfinder account page. If you do contact the shop you have used please have your order confirmation number to hand.

Before Buying Your Fish

Before buying your fish, here are a few check points to consider.

Do you know about the fish you are buying – what is their temperament and are they compatible with the fish they will be kept with? Please consult our fish database on the fish you are considering buying to find out more.

Do the water conditions you keep your fish in match the water conditions that the shop keeps your new fish in? Each shop that sells tropical fish through Tropicalfishfinder will give information about the water conditions their fish are kept in. Also when they are using special water conditions for certain fish eg brackish water, this will show next to the fish details.
